Boomtown Fair

Boomtown Fair is the biggest immersive festival experience on the planet, with thousands of participating artists inhabiting a city built over a month in the stunning national park setting of Matterley Bowl, a complete other world is created that literally has to be seen, to be believed.

With the festival since its conception a decade ago, Doug has more recently come on board as a Creative Director collaborating on all things narrative and story related with Co-Director of Theatre Martin Coat.

Doug also directs the main stage spectacles with The Invisible Circus, who have traditionally been the hosts of the cities earliest district Old Town and continue to animate this authentic port side area, creating a stunning immersive world for revelers to lose themselves in for the 4 days of the festival.
